Platform background

Scotland's Renewable Infrastructure Directory is an independent information resource and specialist directory that connects property owners, businesses, and organisations with accredited renewable energy professionals across Scotland's 32 council areas. The platform covers solar PV, heat pumps, battery storage, heating systems, insulation, and grant funding, with editorial content written specifically for Scottish conditions.

The directory is operated by Scot Energy Efficiency Ltd and is part of a wider network of renewable energy information sites serving Scotland. It is structured as a long-term resource supporting Scotland's transition to low-carbon infrastructure, with an emphasis on accreditation, consumer protection, and realistic, evidence-based information.

For a detailed account of the platform's purpose, structure, and editorial model, please see our About the Platform page.
